PY.

Sir,

Supreme Court,

October 7, 1908.

173

With further reference to your letter 8098/03/0.3.0. of

the 26th ultimo requesting my observations and explanations on a

certain Report of a so-called "Commission to enquire into the

General work of the Registry of the Supreme Court", I have the

honour to inform you that such a document considering its size

and contents, after a careful analysis of what is called the

"evidence", which the Commissioners are not ashamed to admit they

did not think it necessary to go into, I must ask atleast

another 15 days from the 10th, for the transmission of my reply.

2. It cannot be expected that a document such as this

where I am oersonally concerned and which I alone can attend to,

will be answered by me in so short a time as has been given me:

therefore I find I must ask for a further 15 days from the 10th.

to enable me to complete that which I have been working at ever

since, Sundays as well as weak days.

3.

I cannot ask any body to do the clerical part of the

work for me and I must do all myself.

The Bonourable

The Colonial Secretary.

I have fo..

(Sd.)

J.W.Norton Kyshe.

Registrar.
